These were four 25 minute timelapses videos. The sun’s light reflected off the water for over an hour after the sun departed our angular view. If you think the clouds are being lit up from from the sun’s direct light you don’t pay attention to much. I’ve seen the tops of the clouds still lit from the top was white while underneath was also lit up red in the east after the sun departed. Just watch these clouds and you know it’s not direct sunlight hitting them.
